This week, I read a post about plastic surgery gone wrong.

This post talks about plastic surgery women did in
Hollywood. This reading refers to common Hollywood stars that had plastic
surgery in order to look beautiful and attractive. However, this attempt to
become beautiful has backfired and instead of looking beautiful, the women look
unnatural and very artificial than before. The post not only talks about facial
plastic surgery, but also physical surgery such as boob implants and butt
surgeries. Also, the post demonstrates pictures of these women in order to
emphasize how the surgery has gone wrong and how women look somewhat out of
place.
Even before I read this post, the blog’s title attracted me
to read it. This blog post made me think about the rather ironical behaviors of
women. It is very rather sad to see women try to look beautiful and fail to do
so. Women are very pressured by society to look beautiful and physically fit.
But then a question to ask to ourselves is: who is all this effort for? Many
women claim that as they become beautiful and attractive, they gain more
attention from society and men. Hence, women go through all this pain just to
be more accepted by society. This is a very big issue in society because as
they are pressured, women are pushed to do plastic surgeries and spend money in
order to look beautiful. Also, as women are expected to look beautiful, the
standards of men also increase. Therefore, the differences between gender
increases even more, creating a gap that cannot be easily reduced.
